Day 84 of 100 - The Go- Giver (you should really read this)

March 25th.

This book the Go-Giver was recommend to me 3 years ago, and then about 5 times since then...so I finally gave in and read it. Guess what? It is a little tiny book and in less than a week it has dramatically improved my life. Think that is hodge podge? I dare you to read it.  Here is an interesting little story about how I first found out about the Go-Giver and how it could save you $$$, decrease your anxiety, and lengthen your life...(and my workout and food!!)

Insurance was my last great pet peeve with the world. Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Car Insurance, Business Insurance (Professional AND Liability), Home Insurance, and recently with my new baby coming Life Insurance.

Take a long look at that last paragraph. It that what we work for in life? To be terrorized by more than seven wings of  a business that actually bases its productivity on the level of fear and confusion it can create in clients? How do those folks sleep at night? They must be sociopaths with zero conscience.

Then 3 years ago I met Jarryd Nolan. He contacted me via email with a very simple proposal saying that it was very likely he could put together a better plan for my Business Insurance. Skeptical but interested I met him at a Starbucks in South Austin. Jarryd was a fairly young guy and was attempting to get his first few clients using a REVOLUTIONARY idea......meeting clients to find out about their business, then by doing diligent research, match up a company's basic needs to their insurance plan. AND he wasn't matching basic needs to an insurance expert's opinion, but rather a financial experts opinion.

The dude got me 10% more insurance for 40% less than I was paying before AND could explain exactly what I was paying for which I had NEVER experienced.

I was sitting in awe across from this 25 year old guy, (who was anything but a traditional salesman.... more like a coach), and he asked me if I had ever read the Go-Giver.

I had never heard of it and (because we think we know better) did not read it for 3 more years.

It is ringing loud and clear now why Jarryd will eventually handle every piece of insurance I ever have to buy. He is the consument Go-Giver and while he rockets past his older peers in customer satisfaction, retention, and policy sales (in that order) they wonder what in the world they missed.

If you would like to chat with the World's Greatest Insurance guy here is his email.
