Day 83 of 100 - Blackout Returns

March 24th.

The Blackout class at Pure Austin was on tap today for the first time since my marathon. That thing is freakin ridiculous.....Here it is....

Workout:

Warm Up and Drills

3 Rounds of: 25 push ups and 25 Jumping Jacks, 25 push up and 25 Jumping Jacks

(that's 150 of each total)

Then 25 Squat Jumps

1 minute break

3 rounds of: 25 One arm overhead snatch, 25 Squat and curl, 25 other arm snatch, 25 squat and curl

Then 25 Burpees

1 minute break

3 Rounds of: 12 Right leg lunge jumps, 25 180 jumps, 12 Left leg lunge jumps, 25 180 jumps

Fast feet and then drop and hold and push up position 12 times x 2

Stretching

I burned 900 calories in 1 hour. My top heart rate was 181 and my average was 165.

(No kidding you guys. This workout is back to back to back, and I sweated like a freaking hog, but it is one of those that you REALLY appreciate afterwards. By the way very few people do all of the reps...there is lot of "unauthorized" resting going on. So while it is definitely a tough workout you can manage through it)
