Day 63 of 100 - Winning isn't everything

March 4th.

And it's not the only thing.  Don't get me wrong you have to believe you can win in order to actually win, HOWEVER...

You create that belief in winning by actually putting forth the effort that produces winners. AND you have to pick something that you CAN win. It can be a stretch and should be... but if you hate the water and have terrible balance you most likely won't be winning any surfing contest. Get it?

Plus, as I get older, and as much as my ego hates to say this...I get just as much pleasure out of encouraging others to attain their personal maximum potential than I do winning something. Maybe that finally makes me a true winner. I'll call my Mom and ask her.

Workout

Warm up and Drills

Max Dead Lift

1st lift 135lbs x 5, 2nd lift 225lbs x 3, 3rd lift 315lbs x 1, 4th lift 350lbs (NEW PR!)

(I won this in class today in 6:33 ;-)
